Forgotten Story

Well these photos are from a story that I knew finished, and never really started. I met a woman who did roller derby in Flint. Her daughter was thinking about joining as well. I wanted to focus on the mother-daughter aspect and the lifestyle of a derby girl... Rita was a vegetarian, health conscious, a mom and a badass...but I never got her to really trust me and let me in her life outside of practice so even though I knew there was a lot of potential for internesting photos, I didn't get the opportunity to take them. Maybe next time.
