The bulk of my time, resources and photos went to finishing up my maternal health and infant mortality series called Empowering Mothers - Improving Birth Outcomes. The series ran every Sunday starting on Mother's Day and ending on Father's Day.

The goal of the project was to empower women to create and execute birth plans that fit their individual needs, to provide information on pregnancy and maternal health services in the East Texas region, and to educate the general public on the region's infant mortality rates and rates of pregnancy complications.
