Dog Pull

Sandy Williams of St. Johns, Mich. coaxes her dog Pistol, a 16 pound Parson Russell terrier, to pull a wooden sled weighing 491 pounds at the United Kennel Club Arctic Blast Snow Tournament dog weight pull held in Luna Pier, Mich. Saturday. The event continues at Pier Plaza through Monday with dogs of all different sizes pulling up to 3,000 pounds. Dogs can earn points for the most body percent pulled. The dogs must pull the weight on their own for 16 feet in under 60 seconds.
