Rusk Mower Speedway's Inaugural Race

 I like to photography quirky events, so when I saw a poster for the "Rusk Grasscar Race" in Rusk, Texas, I knew I'd want to stop by. This was the first lawn mower race held at the new racetrack. Most of the competitors were first time racers. One was a professional from Longview. I'll be looking forward to see this sport grow in East Texas.
